Preachers, return to the heart of the Gospel: Christ and salvation

We live in dangerous times. Many preachers have gone astray, chasing temporary things, seeking success and good morality, while the heart of the Gospel has been forgotten. They speak of prosperity, ethics, leadership, motivation, and achievements, but neglect the essential: sin, repentance, grace, and the redemptive work of Christ. What a deadly mistake! What a cruel deviation!

The world does not need advice on how to “succeed in life.” It needs forgiveness. It needs Jesus. It needs to hear that no human merit can reconcile man with God. Every soul that drifts away from the cross is a soul in eternal danger.

Preacher, awaken! Your mission is not to accumulate applause, followers, or status. It is to point to the only true hope. It is to teach that nothing in this world can replace the blood of Jesus, which cleanses, transforms, and gives life. All success without Christ is dust; all ethics without repentance is empty; all motivation without the cross is a lie.

Church, wake up! We need preachers who tremble before God, who preach about sin and salvation, who lead souls to the cross rather than to the stages of popularity. Every word that does not speak of Christ and faith is a missed opportunity to save a life.

The world is thirsty—but thirsty for what truly matters. We do not need another motivational talk, more theories on behavior, or a “full life” manual. We need the truth that cuts, confronts, and transforms. Christ is enough. Christ is everything. Nothing else saves. Nothing else frees.

We cannot allow temples and pulpits to become showcases of self-promotion. Every sermon that shifts focus away from Christ and salvation by faith is a silent cry of despair for those who do not yet know eternal hope. Preachers, remember: you are dealing with souls, not spiritual marketing strategies.

People long for guidance, yet many are being led down paths that lead to frustration, emptiness, and condemnation. The true message that must resonate is about grace, forgiveness, and the transformed life that only Jesus offers. Nothing else satisfies the human heart. Preachers, ask yourselves: “What am I really teaching?”

It is time for courage, fidelity, and a return to the Scriptures with fear and reverence. The Gospel was not made to please crowds, but to save lives. Christ is the lamp that illuminates the darkness of sin; Christ is the bridge that reconciles man with God. Whoever departs from this truth betrays the mission entrusted to them. Return to Christ, and everything else will find its rightful place.

May God enlighten us,

Brother Calton
