We began our ministry as UIFEC, conducting evangelism in hospitals and public spaces, as well as through music, having recorded 11 hymns during that period. Subsequently, we started organizing seminars, and later, as Unidos pelo Evangelho, we expanded our work by incorporating audiovisual projects and social media, initially in the context of social isolation (COVID), always with the goal of promoting the gospel through local brothers and locally held events.
Mission: To proclaim and promote the biblical gospel of salvation by grace, as taught by the apostles, the Church Fathers, and the Reformers, for the spiritual strengthening of the Church and the salvation of the lost.
Vision: To see the Mozambican Church return to the pure gospel of Christ and, through it, experience a profound transformation of lives, families, and communities for the glory of God.
We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal, sovereign, the Creator and Sustainer of all things (Deut. 6:4; Gen. 1:1). We acknowledge that human beings, by nature, are sinners and incapable of turning to God on their own (Rom. 3:23; John 6:44), and that salvation is entirely the work of divine grace: the Father elects (Eph. 1:4), the Son redeems (John 3:16), and the Holy Spirit regenerates and preserves (Titus 3:5).
We affirm the Doctrines of Grace, including total depravity (Rom. 3:11–12), unconditional election (Eph. 1:4), particular redemption (John 10:11), irresistible grace (Rom. 8:30), and the perseverance of the saints (Phil. 1:6), ensuring that the saved are kept until the end. We also uphold the Five Solas of the Reformation: the supreme authority of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16), justification by faith alone (Rom. 1:17), salvation by grace alone (Eph. 2:8), Christ as the only Mediator (1 Tim. 2:5), and glory belonging exclusively to God (Rom. 11:36).
We believe that the church is the fellowship of the regenerated, called to live in holiness, love, and faithfulness to the Word (1 Pet. 2:9). We practice baptism as a public sign of faith and new life in Christ (Acts 2:41; Col. 2:12), and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of Christ’s death and an act of fellowship among the saved (1 Cor. 11:24–26).
We await the glorious return of Christ, when He will judge the world with righteousness and establish His eternal Kingdom (Rev. 1:7; Matt. 16:27). As we walk through this life, we trust in God’s grace, guided by the Spirit and devoted to His glory (Rom. 11:36).
